Warren F. Wild, age 66, of Winona, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at his home.
He was born on January 25, 1958, in Winona, to Fred and Elaine (McLaughlin) Wild, and he was a graduate of Winona Senior High School and of the Winona Vo-Tech.
Warren lived for several years in Tionesta, PA, where he was active with their volunteer fire department. He later relocated to Winona where he was employed with Mississippi Welders Supply, and bartended at the Alley Cat.
He will be remembered for his enjoyment of woodworking, riding motocross bike in his earlier years, and how he was always there and willing to help anyone in need.
Warren’s greatest joy in life was his family, and he especially cherished his daughter, Katelyn. He was proud to have taught her how to drive stick shift, and to share with her his love of 80s rock. Over the last several years, Warren was a dedicated caregiver for his father, allowing him to be able to stay in his own home. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him, and were grateful to be able to call him a friend.
Warren is lovingly survived by his daughter, Katelyn Wild; grandson, Zack Wild; sisters: Debbie Thompson and Laura (Tom) Clay; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Amy Kerns-Hundorf.
Private family services have been held.
