SUSAN M. TIBOR

Susan M. Tibor, age 51, of Winona, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017, at her home.

She was born on July 11, 1966, in Winona, to Lloyd “Bud” and Judith (Coleman) Tibor, and was a graduate of Winona Senior High School.  She was employed with Chartwells at St. Mary’s University for the last several years.

Sue had a great love for music – she was an avid pianist, violinist, and also enjoyed composing and writing lyrics.  As a long-time member of the band, Jaded Heart, Sue sang and played keyboard in many venues throughout the area.

She will be remembered for her love of animals, her enjoyment of gardening, and as the best neighbor and friend anyone could have as her door was always open to anyone in need.

Sue is lovingly survived by her children: Shane Kastenschmidt, Kyle Kastenschmidt, and Abigail Powell; mother: Judy Tibor; brothers: Tim (Kristy) Tibor and Mark (Kendra) Tibor; nephew, Hunter; as well as other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bud, and her grandparents.

Visitation will be held at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home on Thursday, November 9, 2017, from 2 PM until the time of a prayer service at 4 PM.  The Reverend William Kulas will officiate.

A private family burial will be held at a later date.

In honor of Sue’s love for animals, memorials may be directed to the Winona Area Humane Society.
