ROBERT P. RAMER

Robert P. Ramer, age 95, of Winona, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at Lake Winona Manor.

He was born on May 22, 1921, in Winona, to Henry and Mary (Piehowski) Rymarkiewicz.  Bob was united in marriage with Evaline Hegard in 1961 in Sarasota, FL.  Evaline preceded him in death on August 2, 2009.

Bob honorably served his country with the United States Navy during World War II.  He was a member of the Winona Athletic Club and its 24 hour Benefit Club, and he was also a member of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Kostka.

Bob is survived by his step-children, George Hegard, Winona, MN, and Frances Mueller, Winona, MN; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.

In accordance with Bob’s wishes, funeral services are being held privately, with burial in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
