ROBERT "BOB" WAYNE MCGUIRE

Robert “Bob” Wayne McGuire, age 85, of Winona, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017.

He was born near Sioux Falls, SD, and after High School he joined the Air Force. Shortly thereafter, he met and married Lorraine Shirley Heller of Pittsburgh, PA.  He worked and retired as a Quality Control Manager for Lake Center Switch.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, 4 sons, and 1 daughter:  Ronald, Timothy (Carolyn), Gary, Cindy (Dan) Mayer, and Todd (Dem); 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, model airplanes, woodworking and especially playing Pinochle with his card buddies. Bob was a member of Arise Christian Church in Stockton MN.  After a courageous fight, he lost the battle with cancer. He will be greatly missed by his family.

According to Bob's wishes there will be no funeral service, although a celebration of life will be held by his family.
