ROBERT J. HAINES

Robert J. Haines, age 57, of Winona, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016, at Lake Winona Manor.

He was born on April 29, 1959, in Winona, to Henry and Mary Ann (Pellowski) Haines.  Robert was a 1979 graduate of Winona Senior High School, and he went on to work for many years at WinCraft in Winona, until his retirement.

Robert will be remembered for his love of fishing, cutting wood, hunting, riding his four-wheeler, and putzing and tinkering.  He was a member of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart.

Robert is survived by his parents, Henry and Mary Ann Haines, Winona; brothers: Ron Haines, Pickwick, MN; and Gerald (Judy) Haines, Arcadia, WI; nephew and nieces: Jeff, Jessica, and Johanna; aunts and uncles: Ed (Alicia) Pellowski, Arcadia, WI; Joe (Pat) Haines, Arcadia, WI; and Theresa Korpal, Milwaukee, WI; as well as numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by many aunts and uncles, including a special uncle, Lambert Pellowski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 AM on Monday, November 7, 2016, at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart.  The Reverend Mark C. McNea will officiate.

Robert will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart on Monday, November 7, 2016, from 9:30 AM until the time of the Mass.

It is respectfully requested that memorials be directed to the Diabetes Foundation for research.
