ROBERT (BOB) E. BOLLMAN

Robert (Bob) E. Bollman, age 90, of Winona, died peacefully on January 13, 2016, at St. Anne Extended Healthcare in Winona.

He was born on September 20, 1925, in Winona, to Ernst and Luella (Hass) Bollman, and attended school in Winona.  He was united in marriage with Marian Schulz on August 23, 1947, at St Martin’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Winona, and they were married for 67 years, until Marian’s passing on December 19, 2014.

Robert was a lifelong member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wilson.   Bob loved farming and farmed the family farm near Rushford, which had been in the family since 1864, until his retirement in 1986.  Bob and Marian then moved to Indian Creek, Fountain City, WI, where Bob loved to fish, garden, watch his beloved Vikings and have fun with family and friends.  In recent years, Bob and Marian returned to Winona.  He was a resident at Callista Court until a recent transfer to St. Anne Extended Healthcare.

Bob and Marian left a rich legacy of love for family which will live on in their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bob is lovingly survived by his children: Joyce (Tom) Burke; Martha Bollman; Christine Bollman; Carol (Dennis) McQuillan; Bruce (Lori) Bollman; Barbara (David) Derse; grandchildren: Lance (Jen Mueller) Westby; Andrea (Patrick) Morrison; Christopher (Mary) Burke; Jackie (Darryl) Mayfield; Kacie Vinton; Amanda Vinton; Joseph Derse; Jacob Derse; Isaiah Bollman; Whitney Bollman; Ruthann Bollman; Hannah Bollman; Gabriella Bollman; Benjamin Bollman; step-grandchildren: Cally (Chad) Moore; Brody (Robyn) McQuillan; great-grandchildren: Emilee Morrison; Abigail Morrison; Aiden Burke; Lauren Burke; Dallace Mayfield; Dakota Mayfield; Peter Bollman; Elijah Bollman; step-great-grandchildren: Jameson McQuillan and Bennett McQuillan; twin sister: Ruth (Bill) Weaver; as well as other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marian (Schulz) Bollman; a baby boy Bollman; parents: Ernst and Luella Bollman; and a sister: Margaret Bentrup.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, January 18, 2016, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 28461 County Road 12 in Wilson.  The Reverend Anthony Straseske will officiate.

Bob will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wilson on Monday, January 18, 2016, from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.  A luncheon will be held at the church following the service.
