PAUL LAWRENCE SCHREIBER

Paul Lawrence Schreiber, age 76, of Pensacola, FL, and formerly of Winona, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2016, in Pensacola.

He was born and raised in Winona, the son of John and Harriet (Plinski) Schreiber, Sr., and was a graduate of Winona Senior High School.  He enlisted in the US Navy, and honorably served his country for 30 years, retiring as a Senior Chief, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Paul is survived by his wife, Ruthann, Pensacola; daughter: Faith (Gary) Schut, Longmont, CO; son: Robert (Kathy) Schreiber, Pensacola; grandchildren: Garry, Will, and Katelyn; brothers and sisters: John (Sue) Schreiber, Jr., Winona; Mary Ann (Larry Loken) Moham, Winona; Irene (George) Forster, Pensacola; Diana (Jack) Simon, Winona; Ken (Betty) Schreiber, Winona; Tim (Lori) Smith, Cochrane, WI; Cheryl Lange, St. Albans, VT; sister-in-law: Patricia Schreiber, Pepin, WI; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Paul, Jr.; his parents; an infant brother Richard Schreiber; and a brother, Leonard Schreiber.

Funeral services and burial with military honors were held at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola.
