Paul Pettersen

Paul G. Pettersen, age 73, of Stockton, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2020, at his home.

He was born on October 24, 1946, in Winona, to Leif and Anastasia (Styba) Pettersen.  He was united in marriage with LaVonne Zahradnik, and she preceded him in death on November 24, 2012.

Paul was employed by Lake Center Industries/TRW for many years, until his retirement.

He will be remembered for his enjoyment of fishing, hunting, and crafts.  He loved playing Santa every year at the Santa House, and he especially cherished the time that he spent with his family.

Paul is lovingly survived by his children: Tamey (Scott) Brink; Lorrie (Tim) Metz; Paula (finacé Leon Urness) Sadler-Frederickson; and Dan (Catherine) Pettersen; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law: Norma Jean Pettersen; as well as other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; step-father: Clarence Martinson; and his brother: David Pettersen.

Due to current health concerns, a family service will be held, with burial at Oakland Cemetery in Stockton, MN.

The family respectfully asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to a charity of choice.
