Patricia Felten

Patricia M. Felten, age 68, of Winona, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at Lake Winona Manor, following a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

She was born on September 22, 1951, in South St. Paul, MN, to Harold and Bernice (Kolodziejski) Hatch, and was a graduate of Brady High School in West St. Paul.  In 1973, Pat completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Art at Winona State University. She was united in marriage with Paul Felten on September 1, 1973, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in South St. Paul.

Pat will be remembered for her love of animals, nature, and going to estate sales.  She also enjoyed art tours in Winona, and she was proud to have purchased #15 “Here on the Mississippi” by Patsy King as part of the Blue Heron Project.  She was a member of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Kostka.

Pat is lovingly survived by her spouse, Paul; children: Amber (Joe) Archer, and David (Michelle) Felten; grandson: Damian Felten; brother: Harold (Kathy) Hatch; a special and long-time best friend: Nancy (Bob) Lundquist; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her beloved dog, Molly.

Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Kostka.  The Very Reverend Patrick Arens will officiate, assisted by Deacon Justin Green.  Pat will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Pat’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staffs of Adith Miller Manor, Lake Winona Manor, and to Winona Hospice, for the loving care that she received.
