Nicole Marie Hentges, of Winona, died on July 9, 2020, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minn., after a five-month battle with cancer.
She was born on January 12, 1988, in Rochester, Minn., to Charles and Laura (Anderson) Hentges.
She attended Lewiston-Altura Schools and graduated in 2007.
She worked for Golden Plump in Arcadia for the last six years, until becoming ill. Hobbies included reading, crafts, and puzzles.
Survivors include her fiance, Jay Rice; parents, Charles Hentges and Laura (LeRoy) Jonsgaard; brothers, Joshua, Dominic (Elle), and Sean; grandparents, Barbara (Mark) Ernster, and Sadie Koenig; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by grandfathers, Lyle Anderson and Orville Hentges; step-grandfather, Ray Koenig; great-grandparents, Emil and Mary Hoppe, and Fern and Harold Kiese and Ivanetta Hoppe.
A celebration of life will be held at Farmers Park in the Women’s Lodge on August 1 from 1-4 p.m. Masks are preferred. Instead of flowers, please share a fond memory.
