Nancy J. Rollinger

Nancy Jane Rollinger, age 82, of Minnesota City, MN, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at her home, with family by her side.

She was born on August 25, 1942, in La Crosse, WI, to Harold and Dorothy (Mowatt) Vetsch of La Crescent, MN. Nancy met the love of her life, Henry, at the La Crescent Rollerskating Rink, and they were married on June 6, 1963.

Nancy and Henry enjoyed doing many things together, including firefighting, teaching CPR and first responder classes, as well as trips to Florida where she looked forward to sitting in the sun. She could often be found at the racetrack cheering on her sons, quilting with her friends at St. Paul’s Church, or sitting in her chair in the front window with a cat in her lap.

Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Nancy is lovingly survived by her husband, Henry; her children: Jenny (Mike) Swanson, Jeff (Debbie) Rollinger, Terry (Kathy) Rollinger, Henry (Nicole) Rollinger, Jr., and Scott Rollinger; grandchildren: Ashley, Kyle, Jennifer, Crystal, Jordan, Cayden, Cody, Kaitlyn, Courtney, Dacota, Chayce, Henry III, Michaela, and Makinsie; great-grandchildren: Temperance, Emmery, Arabelle, Cade, and Madi; as well as other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Dorothy, and her brother, Larry.

A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home, 376 E. Sarnia St., Winona, on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 5 PM until a prayer service at 7 PM.

Father Russell Scepaniak will officiate.
