MILLICENT "LORRAINE" FLATTUM

Millicent “Lorraine” Flattum, age 97, of Winona, peacefully departed this world for heaven on March 9, 2017.  She was born August 29, 1919,  in Preston, MN, to the late Lawrence and Louise (Seely) Blagsvedt.

Lorraine was predeceased in death by her husband of 55 years, Roy C. Flattum; brother, Richard Blagsvedt; sisters, Barbara Bischel and Ramona Zeches; and daughter-in-law, Bridget (Gary) Flattum.

Lorraine is survived by her sons, Roger (Jean) Flattum of Delaware, Gary Flattum of Red Wing, and Kent (Liz) Flattum of Rochester; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her dear friend and caretaker, Linda Schomberg of Winona.

Lorraine was a member of Central Lutheran Church, Women’s Church Auxiliary and Sons of Norway.

The Family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the Lake Winona Manor and Hospice Staff for their wonderful care and kindness.

Funeral Services will be held at 3 PM, on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Central Lutheran Church, 259 W. Wabasha, Winona.  Reverend Lanny Westphal will officiate.

Visitation will be held from 2 PM until the time of the service on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at the church.

Lorraine will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery.
