Lambert "Bert" M. Kluzik

Lambert M. “Bert” Kluzik, age 87, of Winona, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at the Winona Health Hospital.

He was born on February 4, 1936, in Winona, and was the last surviving child of Martin and Verna (Janikowski) Kluzik.  Bert was united in marriage with Judith “Judy” Senstad on March 26, 1955, in Winona, and she preceded him in death on March 8, 2006.

Bert was employed for 30 years with Standard Foundry in Winona, and then for 15 years at Badger Foundry until his retirement.

Growing up on the Mississippi River, Bert had a great love of the outdoors where he enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He also looked forward to trips to Las Vegas with Judy, and as a long-time member of the Red Men Club, Bert was active in helping with their dinners and other events.

Bert is lovingly survived by his children: Wendy Passehl and Gary (Lisa) Kluzik; grandchildren: Jessica (Jason) Losinski, Jennifer Passehl, Jamie (Mike) Drummond, Julia (Scott) Althoff, Kassandra (Ben) Prigge, and Karissa (Ethan) Hackbarth; great-grandchildren: Alexia, Breanna, Matthew, Dylan, Sophia, Victoria, Noah, Caleb, and Maya; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brothers: Stanley, Richard, and Ronald Kluzik; and a sister: Teresa Schewe.

Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the funeral service at 11:30 AM on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home, 376 E. Sarnia St., Winona.  A celebration of Bert’s life will be held following the service on Saturday at the Winona Red Men’s Club, 176 W. Third St., from 1 PM to 3 PM.  Those attending the service and the celebration of life are encouraged to dress casually.

Bert will be laid to rest in a family burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
