Judith A. Klein

Judith A. Klein, age 71, of Rochester, MN was taken home to God on Monday, July 24, 2023.

Judy was born on June 4, 1952, in Caledonia, MN to Miles and Jean (Schmoll) Klein.  She grew up on her parents’ farm in Houston, MN.  She participated in 4-H and had a great passion for reading.  She attended and graduated from Houston High School class of 1970.  She played clarinet and was in the high school class play.  She enjoyed the value of her high school classmates friendships all her life.

Judy attended Nursing school in Rochester, MN through St. Mary’s Hospital and graduated in 1972.   She worked as an LPN in and around Rochester for over 50 years caring for several quadriplegic patients. She enjoyed fishing and camping and was score keeper for a Rochester team.  Every summer her nieces and nephews spent a long weekend with her and their grandmother eating junk food and hanging out in the pool, which all of them loved.  She liked sharing her recipes with friends as well as the great people at St Anne’s in Winona.  A special thanks to them for all their loving care in the last several months.  She thought very highly of you all.

Judy is survived by her sisters Sherry Klein (Winona), Vicki (Greg) Meyer (Rochester), Sandra (Jack) Burgoon, Jo Ann (Don) Mierau, Lori Klein, 9 nieces and nephews and 13 great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Nephew Tanner Bemke.

A visitation is planned at Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home in Winona on Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 10 AM to noon.
