JOSEPH C. "NOODLES" MC RAE
Joseph C. “Noodles” McRae, age 62, of Winona, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017, at his home.
He was born on September 9, 1954, in Winona, to Calvin and Juliana (Loeffen) McRae.

He will be remembered for the way he enjoyed the outdoors by hunting, fishing, golfing, planting flowers, and he loved music. As an avid bowler, he was State Bowling Team Champion in 1991. He was a huge Minnesota Vikings fan, and liked to cook for the East Side Bar Vikings game day parties.
Joe is lovingly survived by his daughter, JoAnna (Steve Geisler) Gribbons; mother: Juliana Hemmelman; step-daughter: Shelley Kurzeka-Jung; brothers: Don (Gayle) McRae, Mike McRae, and Paul (Elisabeth) McRae; sister: Deb (Bo) Petschow; his beloved dog and companion, Bear; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin, his wife, Christine, and his step-father, Clarence Hemmelman.
A gathering for family and friends will be held at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home on Sunday, April 2, 2017, from 12 Noon until 4 PM. Those who are attending are encouraged to dress casually, or to wear their Minnesota Vikings apparel.
