Jesse Eli Culp, age 28, of Winona, passed away on October 15, 2020.
Jesse was born in Atlanta, Georgia at Northside Hospital on July 29, 1992. He became a Christian at an early age and continued to be a man of prayer his entire life. He graduated from Winona Senior High School in 2011, and later completed his coursework for business management at Southeast Technical College.
Jesse was truly unique. He embraced being different. He was bold and fearless with an unabashed sense of humour and style. Jesse was creative and imaginative. When he put his mind to it, he could do anything. Jesse made his own dreams come true, including purchasing his first home at age 26. He was a creator, gamer, and writer.
Jesse was proud of his hard work. He first began working at the young age of 9 years old for the Winona Post and held many other jobs after. Working at USPS, Jesse saw every street of Winona and made sure the mail was delivered, even during the polar vortex. Most recently, he worked at his dream job of testing video games for Activision in Eden Prairie. He was passionate about friends, gaming and YouTubing, setting YouTube records for the most PS4 videos. In all of his hobbies and jobs, Jesse made friends wherever he went.
Jesse was a kind and loving son, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered by his mom, Deborah Culp; his dad, Ernest Culp; his older sister, Gina Milham; his younger sister, Marais Culp; and his younger brother, Blake Culp. Jesse will be especially missed by his grandpa Tom and his nephew Elliot.
A tribute service will be held May 15, 2021 to celebrate the life of the Jesse Eli Culp. Details will be published closer to the date. Thank you all for the love and prayers during this difficult time.
