HELEN IRENE (BUBLITZ) WILLE

Helen Irene (Bublitz) Wille, age 90, of Winona, went to rest in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Monday, November 28, 2016, at St. Anne Extended Healthcare.

Helen was born on August 18, 1926, to Gustav and Louise (Oldendorf) Bublitz in Winona County.  She was a life-time area resident.  On September 17, 1949, she married Del Wille at St. Martin’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Winona.  He preceded her in death on May 16, 2013.

She was a current member of St. Martin’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.  For over 50 years, she worked for Watkins Products; with the last ten years in the Museum Store.

Helen is survived by her sons: Gary (Karen) Wille, Garden, Michigan and Leslie (Mary) Wille, Wanamingo, MN; grandsons: Jeremiah (Celia) Wille, Port Washington, WI, Jordan (Cathy) Wille, Milwaukee, WI, Sean Wille, Milwaukee, WI, and Michael (Megan) Wille, Red Wing, MN; great-grandchildren: Julia, Madeline & Claire Wille, all of Port Washington, WI, and Logan and Harlie Wille, both of Red Wing, MN; sister: Janice Ehmke, Minneapolis, MN; sister-in-law: Ruth Bublitz, Winona, MN; many nieces and nephews; as well as other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers: Elmer, Wilbert and Norman; and sisters: Hilda, Vida, Lucille and Ruth.

A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at St. Martin's Evangelical Lutheran Church.  The Reverend Richard A. Moore will officiate.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Martin's Evangelical Lutheran Church on Saturday, December 10, 2016, from 11 AM until the time of the service.  Following the service, a luncheon will be held in the church fellowship hall.

Private burial will be held at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Hart.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Martin’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
