On February 1, 1947, Helen married Arthur Baker, and together they raised 7 children. They farmed in the Lewiston area for many years and then settled in Winona. While in Winona, Helen worked at Brach’s Candy factory for 15 years. Helen was loved for her wonderful cooking and baking.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur in 2016; and her dear daughter, Arlene in 2018.
Per Helen’s wishes, private cremation was held, and there will not be a funeral due to the pandemic.
The immediate family and friends were able to say their good-byes to mom at Lake Winona Manor through an outside window facing the courtyard at manor. We would like to extend our gratitude to the staff at Lake Winona Manor for their loving care of our mother.
