Gloria M. Van Deinse

Gloria Van Deinse, of Winona, died November 18, 2024, at the age of 95. Her last years were ravaged by Alzheimer’s disease which reduced her to a shadow of her former self. But now she is returned to her original glory.

Her family held a private service at Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home, followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Gloria was preceded in death by husband, Howard, as well as three daughters, infant Karen, Donna (Guepfer), and Mary (Lindstrom). She is survived by seven children, Bill, Barbara, Paul, Tom (Betsy), Jim, Jon (Eun Suk), and Becky. Also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Her family is grateful for the kindness and care Gloria received during her stay at Lake Winona Manor, especially the Winona Health Hospice team. All these people do such demanding and difficult work every day with amazing grace and enormous empathy. We cannot thank you enough for making mom’s last days the best they could be.
