Frederick C. “Fred” Wnuk, age 75, of Fountain City, WI, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at Marinuka Manor in Galesville, WI.
He was born on April 30, 1942, in Arcadia, Wisconsin, to Ralph and Marjorie (Abts) Wnuk. He honorably served his country with the United States Army.
Fred owned and operated the family business, Wnuk Trucking, and was a milk hauler for over 46 years. He will be remembered for his love of fishing, hunting, and watching sports on TV.
Fred is lovingly survived by his children: Becky (Sam) Haines, Trempealeau, WI; Wendy (Brian) Schmitt, Fountain City, WI; and Scott (Crystal) Wnuk, Fountain City, WI; grandchildren: Dexter, Butch, Carter, Paige, Ashlyn, and Avery; a sister: Dorothy (Bill) Daubs, Fountain City, WI; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Jean Langowski.
Visitation will be held from 9 AM until the funeral service at 1 PM on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home. Deacon Justin Green will officiate.
Fred will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Pine Creek, WI, where the American Legion Leon J. Wetzel Post 9 of Winona will provide military honors.
Honorary pallbearers will be Fred’s grandchildren.
