Elizabeth “Betty” Stoltman, age 65, of Winona, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018, at Winona Health.
She was born on April 11, 1952, in St. Paul, MN, to Martin and Myrtle (Erickson) Shields. Following high school, Betty completed her degree in Secondary Education from Winona State University. Betty was united in marriage with Paul Stoltman on July 18, 1980, in Winona.
She will be remembered for her love of doing crossword puzzles, and she especially cherished the time that she spent with her grandchildren.
Betty is lovingly survived by her husband, Paul; children: Emily (Nathan) Schultz, and Edward (Rachel) Stoltman; grandchildren: Theodore, Megan, and Molly Stoltman; and Elaine, Asher, and Israel Schultz; siblings: Michael (Katharine) Shields; Kathleen (Leo) Schettler; Maryalice (Robert) Stepaniak; and Kevin (Carolyn) Shields; a sister-in-law: Leeann (Nick) Gruber; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held from 1 PM until the time of the funeral service at 3 PM on Sunday, January 14, 2018, at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home. Deacon Justin Green will officiate.
The family respectfully requests that memorials be considered in lieu of flowers.
