EDWARD D. PRZYBYLSKI

Edward D. Przybylski, age 84, of Winona, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at the Gundersen Health System Hospital in La Crosse, WI.

He was born on September 25, 1932, in Winona, to John and Anna (Blaskowski) Przybylski.  He attended St. Stanislaus Grade School, and was a graduate of Cotter High School.  Ed was united in marriage with Joyce Dennis on May 7, 1960, at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Winona, and she preceded him in death on May 8, 2014.

Ed honorably served his country with the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1960.  He worked alongside his father for 25 years at Jack’s Service Station, and later worked as a security guard for RTP until his retirement.   He was a member of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Kostka and the American Legion.

He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, and the way that he was able to get along well with people.

Ed is survived by his sister, Bernice (Jim) Semling, Fountain City, WI; brothers-in-law: Robert Dennis, Winona; and Richard (Betty) Dennis, Winona; sisters-in-law: Ruth Dennis, Winona; Carol Lee Dennis, Winona; many nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; brother: Florian Przybylski; brothers-in-law: Ellsworth, Jr., Edward, and Charles Dennis; sisters-in-law: Hope Dennis and Cecilia Dennis; and Joyce’s parents: Ellsworth and Genevieve Dennis, Sr.

Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Kostka.  The Reverend Richard Dernek will officiate.

Ed will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery, where the American Legion Leon J. Wetzel Post 9 of Winona will provide military honors.

Pallbearers will be: Dennis Semling, Alan Semling, Edward Dennis, Steve Dennis, Dave Dennis, and Warren Barth.

The family respectfully requests that memorials be directed to Mass offerings for Ed, or to the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Kostka.
