DOMINIC R. JASZEWSKI, JR.

Dominic R. Jaszewski, Jr., age 79, of Winona, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at the Gundersen Health System Hospital in La Crosse.

He was born on June 14, 1936, to Dominic and Bernadine (Konkel) Jaszewski, Sr.

Dominic worked as a tool and die maker for 44 years at Lake Center Industries (TRW).

He will be remembered as a passive man with a soft heart whose love of fishing, playing fastpitch softball, playing cards, watching football and good times on the Mississippi River filled his time on this earth.

Dominic is lovingly survived by his daughter: Patti (Larry Strange) Henthorne; son: Jason Frickson-Jaszewski; granddaughter: Coral (Sean) Logan; great-granddaughters: Makinley and Maleigha, with another arriving in December; step-daughters: Vicki (Estle) Czaplewski; Cindy (Chuck) Westby; step-grandchildren: Chelsie (Matt) Kiekbusch and their boys, Mason and Marek; favorite sister, Nancy Platteter; brothers: Emil (Janet) Jaszewski, and Bob (Laurie) Jaszewski; sister-in-law: Harriet Jaszewski; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers: Bernie and Len Jaszewski.

It was Dominic’s wish that his passing be observed simply.  A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Monday, October 19, 2015, at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Pine Creek, WI.  Deacon Justin Green will officiate.
