Darlene J. Michalowski

Darlene Joyce Michalowski, 78, of Winona, passed away on February 22, 2024.

Darlene was born June 30, 1945, to Edward H. and Linda L. (Haake) Habeck in Winona, Minnesota. She grew up on the family farm in Wilson Township with her mother, father and 8 siblings.  She was a member of St. Martin’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Winona.

Darlene is survived by her son, Daniel Michalowski; daughter, Linda Michalowski; grandson, Sam Michalowski; two brothers: Ronald (Marlene) Habeck and Richard (Jayne) Habeck; sister-in-law, Ramona Habeck; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Edward H. and Linda L. (Haake) Habeck; brothers: Kenneth, Wayne “Muggy” (Lucille), Dale, and Paul Habeck; and sisters: Diane (Gerhardt) Erdman and Donna (Marvin) Rupprecht.

Visitation will be held from noon until the funeral service at 1 PM on Friday, March 1, 2024, at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home, 376 E. Sarnia St., Winona.  The Reverend Richard A. Moore will officiate. 

Memorials may be directed to a charity of choice.
