CONSTANCE M. "CONNIE" NEITZKE

Constance M. “Connie” Neitzke, age 82, of Winona, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016, at Lake Winona Manor.

She was born on September 20, 1934, in Homer, MN, to Henry and Nellie (Rouse) Niemeyer.  Connie was united in marriage with Roy Neitzke on December 15, 1956, at St. Martin’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Winona.

Connie was an AVON representative for many years, and she looked forward to visiting with her customers when she would deliver their orders.  She will be remembered for her love of stamping and making personalized cards, and she especially enjoyed babysitting and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Connie was a member of St. Martin’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Connie is lovingly survived by her husband, Roy, Winona; son: Kevin (Linda) Neitzke; daughter, Lori (Brian) Albrecht; grandchildren: Meredith Pearcy; Heather, Zachary, Stephanie and Alexander Neitzke; and Samuel and Nathan Albrecht; son-in-law: Timothy Pearcy; sisters-in-law: Barb Niemeyer; Alice Neitzke; Arlene Neitzke; Eleanora (Roger) Garrison; and Josephine Neitzke; godson, Bill Garrison; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Brenda Neitzke-Pearcy; brother, Richard Niemeyer; and brothers-in-law: Weldon and Howard Neitzke.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM on Saturday, October 8, 2016, at St. Martin’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.  The Reverend Richard A. Moore will officiate.

Connie will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at St. Martin’s Evangelical Lutheran Church on Saturday, October 8, 2016, from 9 AM until the time of the service.

Pallbearers will be: Zachary and Alexander Neitzke; Sam, Nathan, and Brian Albrecht; and Bill Garrison.
