CONRAD JOSEPH SPELTZ

Conrad Joseph Speltz, age 87, of Lewiston, MN, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 30, 2017, in Lewiston.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Jeanette Speltz; brother, Raymond; sister, Delores Lennon; brothers-in-law, Rodney Curran and Tom Lennon; and sisters- in-law, Joanne Speltz and Rose Speltz.  He is survived by his sister, Donna Curran; and brothers: Charles (Goldie), David (Marlene), and Anthony; and many nieces and nephews.

Conrad lived a quiet, simple life spending many years on the family farm.  He was a very compassionate person and would frequently bring flowers to people he knew. He also enjoyed playing cards with his friends and loved to win, especially at 500.  Conrad honorably served his country in the Army for 8 years.

The family would like to give special thanks to Michelle Speltz and her staff at Speltz Estates for their compassionate care of Conrad.

Visitation will be held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Lewiston on Thursday, August 17, 2017, from 9 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM.  The Reverend Glenn Frerichs will officiate.  Immediately following the Mass, Conrad will be laid to rest in the church cemetery with military honors.
