CLARICE A. HODGE

Clarice A. Hodge, age 67, of Winona, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017, at Lake Winona Manor.

She was born on August 31, 1949, in Rochester, MN, to Carlton and Edna (Skinness) Welke, and graduated with the first class from Mayo High School in Rochester.

Clarice was employed as a beautician, truck driver, and she worked for over 20 years as a supervisor with Riverside Electronics, until her retirement.

She will be remembered for her love of traveling, spending time on the river, and going to Twins games.  Clarice was very outgoing and adventurous to the point that she went on a hot air balloon ride.  She always treated everyone like family, and her greatest joy in life was spending as much time as she could with her family and friends.  She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Clarice is lovingly survived by her children: Jeff (Connie) Hodge, and Stacey (Scott) Lane; grandchildren: Sarah, Samantha, and Jake Lane; a step-grandson, Lance Owen; brothers: Ronald (Sheila) Welke and David (Rose) Welke; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and an infant sister, Renae.

Visitation will be held at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home on Friday, July 28, 2017, from 5 PM until 8 PM, with a time to share memories from 7 PM to 7:30 PM.  Following the visitation, a celebration of her life will continue at the Athletic Club.
