Cheryle M. “Sherry” Nation, age 55, of Winona, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at St. Anne Extended Healthcare, surrounded by her family.

She was born on June 11, 1964, in Winona, to James and Thelma (Bolstad) Nation, and was a graduate of Winona Senior High School.

Sherry will be remembered for her love of doing arts and crafts, spending time in the outdoors, and she enjoyed searching for a good bargain at thrift stores and garage sales.  Her family was the center of her life, and she especially cherished the time that she spent with her grandchildren.

Sherry is lovingly survived by her children: Branden and Cody; boyfriend, Jim; grandchildren: Jayda and Remi; brothers: Scott and Jeff; as well as other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held from 9 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM on Monday, August 26, 2019, at Central Lutheran Church in Winona.  The Reverend Louise Stromberg will officiate.  Sherry will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery.
