BRENDA L. (NEITZKE) PEARCY

Brenda L. (Neitzke) Pearcy, age 59, of Plymouth, MN, and formerly of Winona.

Brenda was an ELCA Lutheran Deaconess for many years.  She served her internship at Zion Lutheran Church, Piedmont, CA and was consecrated in her home church, St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Winona in 1981.  She served as a volunteer Deaconess at St. Barnabas Lutheran Church of Plymouth, MN from 2011-2013.

Brenda was active in A.A. in her participation, sponsorship, and leadership roles, and she and her family were very proud of her 20 years of sobriety. She was a passionate servant of the Lord, flower gardener, cake decorator, present wrapper, hostess, and mother. She often shared fun stories from her time as a clarinetist in her high school marching band.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy and daughter, Meredith; parents, Connie and Roy Neitzke; brother, Kevin Neitzke and wife, Linda; sister, Lori Neitzke-Albrecht and husband, Brian; relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at St. Martin’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Winona.  The Reverend Richard A. Moore will officiate.

Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at St. Martin’s Evangelical Lutheran Church on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, from 11 AM until the time of the service.

The family respectfully requests that memorials for Brenda be directed to the Lutheran Deaconess Association, 1304 Laporte Ave., Valparaiso, IN 46383.
