Betty A. Kanz, age 88, of Winona, went to be with our Lord Jesus on April 2, 2024.

Betty was born on March 24, 1936, to Earl and Irma Grant.  She met the love of her life, her husband, Cliff Kanz.   With this union they had three children: Wayne (Maryellen) Kanz, Wanda (Kevin) Kuehn, and Wendy (Tom) Bublitz.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jennifer Cory; A.J. (Rachel) Kanz, and their children, Gwen and Hope; Kyle Hauser and his daughter, Aaliyah; Jamie (Jason) Marshall, and their children, Carter, Hoyte, and Sawyer; Grant Hauser and his son, Austin; Josh (Michelle) Bublitz, and their children, Phillip and Mabel; Justin (Christina) Bublitz, and their child, Kinzy; Brooke (Wade) Meyer, and their children, McKenna and Caiden; Kelly (David) Docker, and their children, Braelee and Blakelyn.

Betty is further survived by her siblings: Phyllis Lang, Helen Ebertowski, Bill (Judy) Grant, Bob (Bonnie) Grant, and Joannie (Sam) Sasser; in-laws: Joan (Ray) Peterson, Leroy Kanz, and Becky Kanz; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cliff Kanz; grandchildren: Garret Kanz, Gavin Kanz, and Blake Hauser; her parents; and her siblings and in-laws: Edwin (Betty) Grant, Fred (Veronica) Grant, Lawrence Grant, Eddie Ebertowski, Gene Lang, Joan (Don) Wieczorek, Jennell Kanz, Deloris (George) Lakey, Roger Kanz, and Jean (Gene) Revoir.

Betty treasured her family, and along with Cliff, they were the biggest cheerleaders in all of their sports and life adventures.  She was also a big fan of the Minnesota Vikings – SKOL!

Gardening was Betty’s passion!  Her many loving hours in the gardens allowed us to take in the beauty and aroma of her talent.

Betty let the Lord Jesus lead her life.  With a caring and giving heart, she used those gifts managing Lakeview Manor Apartments for over 20 years with Cliff, going above and beyond a manager’s role, she shared her gifts and His Gospel
