ARDELLE A. CIERZAN

Ardelle A. Cierzan, age 87, of Winona, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015, at St. Anne Extended Healthcare.

She was born on August 4, 1928, in Cross Township, Buffalo County, WI, to Lewis and Emma (Sutter) Tullius.  She was united in marriage with John B. Cierzan, Jr., on April 4, 1954.  John preceded her in death on December 16, 1998.

Ardelle was employed for over 35 years at WinCraft in Winona, and she was always meticulous and took great pride in her work there.  She was a member of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Kostka.

She will be remembered for her love of visiting with her relation, boating on the river, watching QVC, and she enjoyed trips to the casino and vacationing in Las Vegas.  Ardelle had an incredible and loving relationship with her nieces and nephews who were always willing to help her in any way they could, and they also enjoyed many fun times together.

Ardelle is lovingly survived by her son: John B. (Karen) Cierzan, III; son-in-law: Duane Bell; grandchildren: Hollie (Jamie) Niemeyer; Tyson (Shannon) Bell; Torrey (Melissa) Bell; Todd (Carol) Bell; John B. “Jack” Cierzan, IV; and Izabella Cierzan; great-grandchildren: Jacey, Jordan, Jadyn and Jannessa Niemeyer; Ashton, Trace and Rayne Bell; and Savannah "Savy" Bell; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Rita Bell; as well as seven brothers and sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 AM on Saturday, December 26, 2015, at the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Kostka.  The Reverend Monsignor Thomas J. Hargesheimer will officiate.

Ardelle will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Kostka on Saturday, December 26, 2015, from 9 AM until the time of the Mass.

It is respectfully requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Shriner’s Hospital or to St. Anne Extended Healthcare.

Pallbearers will be: Tyson Bell, Torrey Bell, Todd Bell, Jadyn Niemeyer, Kevin Ressie, Robert Tullius, Ryan Tullius, and Dennis Tacke.
